Fall in Love with Valentine’s Day in Missoula

You won’t have to look far to find 2019 Valentine’s festivities in Missoula, where the snow falls but the flow of events never seems to slow down. We searched far and wide and found five lovely ways to celebrate with your sweetheart.

Catch a Movie

You can’t go wrong with this classic date, especially when Missoula offers up so many options. The Roxy Theatre will be showing old favorites like Romeo and Juliet, while the AMC Dine-In Theatre at Southgate Mall has new releases like Isn’t It Romantic, A Dog’s Way Home, and Aquaman lined up.

Hit the Dance Floor

Have your funkiest Valentine’s Day yet at the Top Hat Lounge, where electronic duo Skiitour will be playing late into the night. Whether you’re starting your night with Top Hat’s farm-to-table menu or simply grabbing a cold beer, it’s bound to be an upbeat Valentine’s.

Feast on Four (Or More!) Courses

Missoula’s fine dining scene is stepping it up this Thursday. Reserve your spot at Caffe Dolce to experience five courses and bubbly to pair. If you’re looking to dine downtown, Red Bird Restaurant created a Valentine’s prix fixe menu that won’t disappoint. Bonus: since Red Bird fills up fast, they are offering reservations on February 13th and 15th to try their Valentine’s menu as well!

Listen to Live Music Over Dinner

If you simply can’t decide over great food and live music, you’ve come to the right place. Spots like Plonk Wine Bar will pair their four course meal with a live performance by the Josh Farmer Trio. Rumor Restaurant will be keeping it acoustic with the lovely melodies of local musician Sienna Hester, best enjoyed alongside their Valentine’s Day menu specials.

Order In

If the snow is coming down and your room at the Comfort Inn is way too cozy to leave, order in! Between services like DoorDash and UberEats, on top of the most classic delivery of all (pizza!) there’s no need to leave the comfort of a warm room.
