We think every hour is pretty happy here in Missoula, but there’s a certain time of day that local bars and restaurants really start to hook it up. Here are 5 delicious happy hours around town:
Pizza and beer, beer and pizza. The guys over at Bridge Pizza love the iconic duo as much as we do and that’s what makes their happy hour so great. Buy one slice of pizza and get a free 10 ounce KettleHouse beer from 3pm-5pm, 7 days a week.
It’s easy to get caught up in Top Hat’s calendar full of local and big-name bands, but the restaurant/bar/venue is so much more. Get ready for your next concert with steep discounts on well drinks, draft beer and select food from 3pm-6pm Monday through Saturday.
We’re very grateful for both of Plonk’s happy hours, because one just doesn’t cut it at this place. Enjoy wine and signature cocktails as low as $5, and unique appetizers as low as $6 (we recommend Plonk’s beloved cheese plate). If you can’t make it there from 3pm-5pm, hold out for their 10:30pm-12am reverse happy hour.
The Thomas Meagher Bar (Otherwise known as Marh Bar)
This Irish pub in downtown Missoula keeps us busy all week with games, events and a killer happy hour. If you want to warm up your trivia or bingo night with cheap drinks, stop by Monday through Friday from 3pm-6pm for $2.50 well drinks, house wine and beer.
You know we had to include a brewery in our happy hour favorites, seeing as we’re in the land of craft beer. Tamarack brews some local favorites, and they don’t mess around when it comes to happy hour. Find the perfect pint for $3 from 3pm-6pm and 10pm-12am daily, or go big and fill your growler for $8 all day Wednesday and Sunday.
